Webinar: Energy data for research

This free webinar is jointly organised by the UK Data Service and the Smart Energy Research Lab (SERL) at University College London and aims at introducing the SERL project.

Dave Rawnsley (UK Data Service) will discuss the international energy data available from the UK Data Service, such as the International Energy Agency World Energy Statistics and the International Energy Agency CO2 Emissions from Fuel Combustion. This will be followed by a presentation about the SERL project by Simon Elam (Principal Research Fellow and Director of SERL at University College London) and Darren Bell (UK Data Service). SERL is a 5-year project to develop a Smart Energy Research Lab to provide vital access to energy data for the UK research community. The presentation will give a summary of the SERL project, data and research as well as the technical infrastructure used.

The webinar will consist of 45 minutes of presentations and 15 minutes for questions.
